Greater than or equal to is missing in text field search constraints

@romanmg

Hi Gabby - I notice that in search constraints, text fields have < & > operators, but not <= & >=. Is this as it should be and if so, is there a workaround for this? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can share here.

Hello @stu_bowes

It depends on the field type. Below an example where search constrains as you describe for a field of type “date”

Yes, I know that thanks. My question relates to the text field type. I need to use >= but it’s not present, only >, which makes little sense. Which is why I expect there is a work around of some sort.

A text displays … text … > or < are number operators … :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s not quite correct - if you take a look you will see that text fields have these operators too. Text can be sorted therefore it can be compared in this way.
