Groupfocus - toggling

I seem to have inconsistent results with toggling a group focus from a button. It becomes visible when the button is clicked but then when clicked again it doesn’t always become invisible. Sometimes it takes several clicks to become invisible. Is that normal?

If you click outside of the groupfocus it closes, so when groupfocus is visible and you click the button, it does, hide>show, thus always staying visible as human I can see.
