Hi everyone,

Has anyone got any tips or tools for automating testing within Bubble? I can see this tool from a previous thread in Jul 18 https://preflight.com/

All ideas welcome, manual testing is starting to sap my energy!

It looks like preflight just launched (or relaunched) their tool on product hunt (Preflight for Bubble - No-code testing to make sure Bubble workflows are unbroken | Product Hunt). They don’t have pricing listed on their webpage so it’s hard to tell if it’s a tool priced for early-stage or more mature bubble businesses…

I’m going to do more research on this topic in the next few weeks and will follow up if I find a good option.

Hey @helena, @Andre3001 I saw your old post. Did you have any luck with preflight? i’m looking for a testing solution too.

You can use Cypress. Writing cypress with AI is super simple as long as your elements are well named. Works like a charm.

No… The last time I checked a few years ago, preflight pricing wasn’t within the budget. You may want to look into Bubble’s recent acquisition of Flusk. It looks like at least some type of pen testing is provided by the tool and it will likely become a solution that’s very easy to integrate. Wish you all the best with your project! I’ve come across a similar dilemmer when building my own apps - Bubble have a blog post recommending PreFlight but it’s since been sold and now starts at 20k/year, and so, I decided to work on https://www.dryrun.app/ which provides automated testing specifically for Bubble apps.
