Help converting web to mobile app

Hello everyone

I have built a fitness app on bubble, having used BDK so far. However, Bubble has recently released the new native mobile builder, and so I’ve started moving everything from the web to the mobile app. Unfortunately I am still a beginner (around 1 year experience) and I’ve been struggling with some of the elements and workflows, as some of them don’t work on mobile. Therefore, I am simply looking for a developer with experience of bubble native mobile to look at my web app, and move the functionality to the mobile app. Everything is already complete, so this should take a fairly short amount of time for someone with experience. My budget for this would be about $150, considering that it’s a fairly small app. Let me know if you can help me, or any suggestions.

Hi @huleschn

I know… the BDK → Native migration can be tricky, certain elements and workflows don’t translate directly because Bubble Native uses different underlying components (native views vs. webviews). When I published my PropTech app on iOS/Android, I learned that mobile-specific triggers and actions need to be rebuilt using the new native mobile events rather than just copying web workflows.

One thing to watch: elements like repeating groups might need to be switched to swipe lists, and some plugin-based features may not have native equivalents yet. The database and backend workflows stay the same, which helps, but the UI layer requires proper native rebuilds.

Given your budget constraint and the scope (full app rebuild on mobile), $150 might be tight for a complete migration if there are complex workflows involved. That said, since you’ve already migrated some parts to native and others to webview, the scope might actually fit. Let’s jump on a quick call to assess the app size and see what’s left, then we can determine if it’s doable within your budget.

Feel free to DM me to set up a time to review the details.
