Help Send grid API KEY

Hello,

I am preparing to deploy my website, but I have encountered an issue when creating a new user account.

A pop-up appears indicating that I have no more SendGrid credits available, so the account confirmation email cannot be sent.

I previously created a SendGrid account, generated an API key, and added it to my Bubble application settings. However, I would like to know if there is another way to send confirmation emails for account creation without using SendGrid.

The paid SendGrid plan costs around €20, and since my website is not launched yet, I would like to know if there is a free or alternative solution compatible with Bubble.

Could you please let me know what options are available?

Try brevo or mailersend. They have great free plans. Sendgrid used to have a good free plan.

You will need to use a plugin or connect it via the API connector.

I have a question regarding the API key. In the Mail section of the Settings, it automatically asks me to provide a SendGrid API key (see attached image). Do I need to create a specific SendGrid API key, or can I use any API key?

In that location you need to use a SendGrid key. If you don’t want to use SendGrid you need to use a plugin or the API connector to connect your own email provider. Postmark is my favorite.

You can easily switch to a free alternative like Gmail or Outlook for sending test emails while developing.
