SendGrid API Key?

hi there.

I am working an a very small website with few traffic.
But for new registered user I needed to send automatic email from a real email adresse with my domain name.

So in Email Settings, I have been asked to enter a SendGrid API Key.
I created one but it seems there is no Free plan on SendGrid, even for a couple of email/day ?!
So there is no solution on BubbleIO: either I pay SendGrid or I will keep awful sender address ?
Thanks for any help.

Hey @e-contact :waving_hand:

Welcome to the Bubble Community! :tada:

Yeah, I think that is correct. I just use Postmark now. You can use Postmark and get 100 emails per month for free. Hope that helps.

SendGrid does have a free tier — 100 emails/day. You just have to sign up and make sure you’re not on a trial. Worth double-checking before switching providers.

That said, Postmark is a solid alternative and what I use for all of my clients.

Hi and thank you for the answer.
You mean I can use Postmark to create an API KEy and it will match Bubble IO parmeters ? Even if it asks “SendGrid API Key” ?

If you use Postmark you wouldn’t use that Email Settings section. You would set it up using the API connector.

There is no longer a free tier for SendGrid. Loops.so is a good option as well.

Thank you for your help!

I never used API connector section, but I will check.
So that clearly means Bubble IO proposed an Email setting with SendGrid which is not free…

No, not anymore. There is no longer any free level in SendGrid.
