I want to have a dynamic expression where I am searching the database for a users first name and last name but have it only displays the initials of the first and last name. any ideas?

You don’t need to append, just put the first dynamic expression and then add the second dynamic expression without a space

Don’t click ‘more’ after the expression, put the cursor just after the expression and wait until you see the blue insert dynamic data pop up, click on that and then build the expression

I just need to figure out how to force them to be capital letters (some users don’t enter their name is capitals on sign up)
There is an uppercase operator
