Here’s my first Bubble game! (in case anyone fancies passing a bit of time)
It comes with really annoying music and sound effects (which you can turn off), instructions and a leaderboard, oh and a comments section at the bottom
It’s not geared up for mobile use at the moment but you have 26 levels to try and get through.
Actually it was a nice change to use Bubble in this way, good fun putting it together too and it shows off some of the Bubble animations that can be used, so I thought I’d share it with everyone.
Ah yes, will sort a mobile version out soon (will replace that question when seen on a mobile)
The answer is to press the letter J (or j) on your keyboard, rather than trying to click one of those J’s.
Wow - love this! For your project specifically, is your game builder interface public in Bubble? Or a personal tool you built to then create the game? Don’t worry, this is my last message today
At the moment, it’s just for me personally. I was planning on selling it as a template maybe eventually. Then anyone can build a game for themselves. I just got disheartened when I only got 3rd place in the contest.
It would be a great template. Don’t be disheartened by third place. There will be more competitions. And just because something isn’t in first, doesn’t mean it’s not a winning idea or design.
Yep all Bubble, just like J805 mentioned. I never spotted the Zelda game before though, that’s really cool, a lot more work has gone into that than my efforts and brings back some memories too, top work @J805! very impressed
You got a lot of responses in just 18 hours and people actually played. That’s saying something. I wrote my first game in the 80s in Basic. I had so much fun doing it. Apple IIe times. Still developing til this day.
Years ago I developed Alien Plethora very few people downloaded it. I took it down but I have this video on it which I forgot about https://youtu.be/t8zUB_kpvGc
Thanks, it is fun and gets you thinking for sure.
Video looks impressive, couldn’t imagine how you’d go about putting something like that together
I just did this for a bit of fun really, something with an addictive nature and a tune that gets stuck in your head. Yes I remember my first PC was an Amstrad back in the 80’s too, playing with all those basic commands like a million lines just to get something like "you’re in a room surrounded by doors… to the left is this and to the right is that etc… "- you know those type of games!
That’s some evil genius-level stuff right there, @pork1977gm, and now that I have the current high score (2100) on the leaderboard, I am never playing it again.
