Highlight a tab item

Hello fellow bubblers and builders. Has anyone figured out how to “highlight” a tab item (ie. a small red dot as a visual cue) that can be shown conditionally?

Attached example from airbnb has the “Profile” tab highlighted.

I thought i might be able to add a floating group with a transparent BG to achieve the desired effect, but that doesn’t seem to work.

Grateful for any suggestions or other workarounds. Thanks!

We’ve had to create a custom tab bar as a reusable element for exactly that reason. Couldn’t find any other solution :confused:

ah ok. bummer, was trying to avoid that, but thanks for letting me know…
