Hello everyone please if you value your time and peace of mind then don’t work with this person.

They don’t respect developers and think throwing around a paycheck makes them a god. They are not comfortable answering scoping questions and just like to bark orders.

I have had a very bad experience just talking with them for a few minutes on LinkedIn as they got very condescending and weren’t sure of what they wanted

I can attach some of our conversation here if necessary.

Be warned!

I even more stand by my position. No one else has this problem; they showed their work. You want to ask me what needs to be done after a Bubble AI build. You, if you actually worked with one, would know the answer to that question. You are to complete the App, so you should know what that means.

You can aggressive, and I don’t have to hire aggressive men. We want employees we keep for a very long time. We have a culture method in place. So you can say what ever you would like, but what part did you play? Also how do you think this is going to go? Other potential employers will see this.

Everyone doesn’t have to like you. You also are not bossing me around in my interview for my company. Hilarious to me to think that would be allowed. I had the questions that would be asked first, then you can do whatever. Telling my company business to no -candidates does not happen here. Our interviewees must sign NDAs.

You didn’t get past the initial email. Others have interviews next week with awesome portfolios. Yet, I’m supposed to like your work more. I don’t. You had to be asked for the portfolio. Even I have that in a cover letter to potential clients.

I’m going to keep this message up too, because this is why people don’t get hired as fast. Emotionality vs asking what could be done better. Accountability goes a long way. Abusive personality types though are not for my organization. At all.

Good day.

Alecia

I wish you good luck with your hiring and most importantly the people who want to work with you.

I’ve worked with dozens of people, some of who I’ve met on this forum and I have a good relationship with many of them even many years after we’ve stopped working.

I reached out to you after seeing your post and asked what exactly you needed help with, you mentioned that I should just “Complete your app” regardless of what that is.

You couldn’t answer which part of the app needed work, frontend, backend, privacy rules, API…worse still you blamed me for asking you questions and said it meant I was the worst candidate.

You went further to sent me a link to somebody’s portfolio (I believe one of the applicants) and said that the quality their portfolio “buried” me. Here’s you sharing someone’s portfolio link to another “candidate” and yet you expect those working for you to sign an NDA. So much for privacy!

You claimed you wanted to launch 100 bubble AI apps before the year ends showing lack of understanding of development requirements and what it takes to launch a quality app.

You also mentioned on LinkedIn that I can say what I want since you are the one paying me, you seem not to value getting feedback from those who work with you and you just want to bark orders because you write a paycheck.

I think you have worked a lot with AI and are used to lashing out prompts as commands but I have been in the no code space long enough to know that you can’t bark orders at a developer and expect him to give you the best.

The very best developers here are willing to help but they don’t just give their time to anyone as that time is precious and valuable and must be respected.

I have warned other developers from working with you and that’s just me watching out for others…please don’t take it personal.

I hope you are able to appreciate better those who take their time to reach out and lend you their skills and understand that good developers are hard to find.

All the best Alecia,
Aaron

Yes, well that’s fine. The ones I have scheduled for next steps are who I want. If they are your friends, please yes let them know your assumptions are wild for someone who wouldn’t have a conversation with you. Again, you control nothing at my company and wish you the bes. Just didn’t affect anything for me. Maturity is an asset that pays a long way.
