Our platform will show users businesses near them based off the input that they put in our search bar and their location. We are using Algolia at the moment for this but need it tweaked a little bit.
Due to this, I’m looking to hire a bubble dev to help work on fixing the existing Algolia Location Based Search function.

I’ve been integrating Algolia and Typesense search API providers for over 3 years. I’ve done it so many times and addressed so many corner cases I decided to create a plugin to package my knowledge - it’s called Omnisearch and it’s quite good.
Notably, I made a special demo to illustrate how well it works with geosearching, see below (live demo here):
This is definitely something that Bubble users have been able to solo-integrate using our docs and extensive resources but I’d be happy to complete the integration for you. There are some gotchas to using Algolia for geosearch, too (the biggest one being the limitation of one searchable address per record) but I’d be happy and able to advise through those. Let me know if you want to explore more 
I believe it’s the API connector. I’m open to changing the way it’s integrated to have the functionality I want for my app.
