How do I change the description of my website, under the title/link search result?

When looking at search results, there are descriptions of the website under the title and link, how do I make one for my bubble website?

Thanks!

Hi there,

So I assume by search results you mean submitting a search query on say Google or Bing right.

What you’ll want to change is the Page Title and Description, as know as the page’s meta data.

So in the Bubble editor and on the pages you’d like to change the SEO meta data, your need to define the values:

If the page is static then just enter the title and description to what you want it to be. Obviously there are rules as to what the length should be, I recommend using a simple tool for this such as:

Along with the fundamentals if your not clear on them:

Now if the page is a dynamic page e.g. holiday rental, with the content that will vary - you can insert the dynamic data to the title and description - as long as the page is assigned to a data type e.g. holiday rental

You might want to create extra fields within the data type such as SEO Title and SEO Descriptions (text values) then pull them in dynamically rather than say the data type’s description which maybe quite long and not optimised (although you could truncate).

Once you made these changes I suggest resubmitting your site/page to Google. You can do this through a sitemap and submitting via the Google Webmaster Tools. Note, that changes could take a week to a month on search engines for SEO meta data to reflect once they’ve re-crawled your site.
