How do I change the name of a page?

I would like to change the names of a couple of pages within my app. E.g. I made a new page the index page and now the original index page has been renamed to “old_index”. And since the page names show up in the URL of my app, “old_index” doesn’t look so good in there for users to see. How can I go about changing the name? Thank you, Dominik

Hi there, @nate3… the link provided in the previous response will show you how to rename a page, but it should be noted that you cannot rename the index page. It is an internal page that Bubble needs in order to function, and it cannot be renamed.

you can simply name the page’s title but not the page’s name. It’s needed as @mikeloc said
BUT

If you REALLY want to rename it to ‘home’, you can upload a page named home.php in bubble, and that php page will load a borderless iframe with index’s content.

Thanks guys! It was not obvious at all, that you can edit this section: https://prnt.sc/tkore9 they should improve that UI.
Also, since I can’t change the name of the index page, can I just copy that page and it’s contents and rename the new page? Or must “index” be the first/primary page of the app?

Hi there, @anuraulia1… yes, the index page is the landing page for your app. You can’t delete the index page, but you can set another page to be the index page, at which point the new page will be renamed to index, and the old index is renamed to something like old_index.
