How Do Password Policy Changes Affect Existing User Accounts?

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the impact of modifying password policy settings for user accounts in Bubble.

While I understand we can set specific password policies (e.g., minimum length, requiring numbers or special characters, etc.), I’m curious about how these changes affect existing users when the policy is updated. For example, if I increase the minimum password length, how are user accounts created before this change treated?

Will users with passwords that don’t meet the new requirements still be able to log in, or will they be prompted to update their passwords to comply with the new policy? Also, if users are required to update their passwords, how are they notified?

I’d appreciate any insights or experiences on this!
