How I weaned myself off of Sendgrid

This last year I had problems with Sendgrid sending my transactional emails to spam, deliverability issues to certain providers like Yahoo/Hotmail, Bubble’s recent Sendgrid fail, and having to rely on a plugin to send Sendgrid emails - which failed at one point until the author updated the plugin.

I switched to Postmark which handles emails way more reliably. On top of that they have an app, and their first paid plan is $5 cheaper than Sendgrid.

It was also super easy to set everything up with API Connector, so now I don’t have to rely on a plugin which can unexpectedly break.

The API connector was actually super easy to set up - here’s how mine looks.

The only downside is that Postmark doesn’t have a drag and drop template editor like Sendgrid. The easy work around is to just design your templates on Sendgrid, then export your HTML to Postmark.

I even got my password reset emails going through Postmark, it’s so much more reliable.

Lots of Youtube videos out there to learn more! So far I’m extremely happy with my switch to Postmark!
