Not necessarily. Design you database and privacy rules so as to create the data privacy you require. Or not.
Unfortunately you are wrong or I wasn’t able explain my point well.
You and anyone having access to your bubble account as collaborator can read the messages using the app data. Privacy rules have nothing to do with it. Permission levels when adding a “collaboration” user can prevent data to be read but even in that circumstance at least 1 person (admin) is able to read data(messages).

How can I only create a chat, If no chat between 2 users already created?
I don’t use the “Create Chat Button” in this tutorial.
I’m User 1 and visit User’s 2 profile.
There is a button “contact user 2”.
This will open the chat directly → that is working like:
But how can I only create a new chat, if no chat already exist?
And when a chat exist, how can I join directly the existing chat?

First, check if a chat already exists between the Current User and User2. If you canoot find the chat, create a new one. If a chat already exists, open that chat. Need not create a new one. This is a simple “check first, then create or join” approach in Bubble.
