Hi,
I have an agency account and I have an application that is ready to move to live (but still password protected). I want to deploy it like so:
https://new.example.com (password protected whilst staging and testing)
Then later, I want to change the domain to:
https://www.example.com (remove password protection)
This is my app (not a client’s app), so do I need ot setup a separate account to some how transfer it, or can I keep it in my current account and just publish it live?
This is my first app, so not really sure what to expect.
Thank you.
I think I figured it out. I believe I need to:
- Upgrade the app to one of the other paid plans (Starter or Growth for example)
- Set my domain to
test.example.com
and update DNS.
- Click the Deploy to Live version button.
- Later, I can just change my domain to
www.exmaple.com
and remove password.
Am I missing any steps or are there any gotchas I need to know about?
Thank you.

Be Careful, whil transferring the app to another acount , all the plugins subscriptions are deleted
Thanks for the tip. In my case, I’m not transferring anything to another account am I?
Just click deploy. Connect whatever domain you want to use. Change the plan in the App plan
menu when ready.
