Complete newbie here, hi! I am not sure what I set off but I’m getting the following error:
It seems that you are using the editor with a browser Zoom level different than 100% or a system-level scaling that’s too big, so some UI elements may not be visible. Consider adjusting scaling to 100% and using the built-in zoom feature in the Grid & Borders menu for more accurate element positioning.
I’ve looked inside my Grid & Borders and it’s 100% so I’m assuming it’s the scaling or browser zoom level I need to adjust but I can’t find where to adjust those. The problem is that half of the page is cut off at the top and I can’t see it.
Sorry, I meant that I tried to adjust the zoom of my browser by doing ctrl+ but it didn’t make the initial problem go away.
I am also getting the following error when I try to preview anything:
The page is higher than your real design as the debugger is visible and displays a white area.
It will be back to normal when the debugger is off.
Is there a way to return to default settings on Bubble so I can start again? I’ve taking the lessons now and trying to learn from ground up rather than just excitedly trying out stuff but I need a clean slate to work with.
That’s not an error… it always shows that when you have the debugger on. Turn it off if you don’t want to see it (remove the ?debug_mode=true from the URL)
Regarding the initial problem, where exactly are you seeing that message, and what problems (if any) is it causing?
There isn’t a place to turn it off and there’s the exclamation mark inside a triangle with it, but removing that bit from the url has helped. However, I wish I could just turn it off.
Per the initial question, I was doing so much and getting so confused and I deleted all that I had on the page and now I don’t see it any more. But I was on the ‘responsive tab’ trying to follow a youtube video when that error happened, if that information might help.
