How to keep from editing to only one element

Hey Bubble fam,

Excuse me if this question is very nuanced, I’ve only been using Bubble for a couple of days now. I was wondering how I can edit an individual text element and not have all of the elements change with it?

For example, every time I edit a button on the index page it changes the design of all of the buttons across the app.

Hi there, @ethan.berk33… if I understand your post correctly, the only way what you described would happen is if you are editing a button style or if the button is part of a reusable element. Can you shed some light (with screenshots, if possible) on what you mean by “edit” in “every time I edit a button”?
