How to secure health data for a platform built on bubble?

Hi there,
In France, Bubble isn’t compliant for healthcare Apps.

However, I’m planning to build a platform in which, users will have to input health datas.
Is there any way to stock those datas outside of Bubble, or at least, to secure those to become compliant?

Thanks for your help,
Cléolia

You can use the Xano that is Hippa compliant.

Save your data at Xano, and access it in Bubble via the API.

Hi

This probably isn’t 100% accurate. To be incredibly clear here anytime an API call is made from the backend you can no longer be hipaa compliant because even the middle man (bubble) has to sign the baa.

That said, if you can guarantee that the calls will be made from client side then you could in theory create a hippo compliant app.

But, does France require an agreement between app and a middle man? Can you talk more to the requirements as they relate to data transmission as well as storage. These are usually two separate parts of the same law.
