You’re talking a solid amount of sweat equity, the recommendation algo has to be really good which takes a quite experienced developer to do and many of us with the level of experience required to build such a feature adequately don’t tend to do complete sweat equity deals. Reduced rate + equity isn’t abnormal if the other partner has a marketing budget, social presence, etc to push the platform. If you already have investor funding but setup a deal where it’s all sweat equity to start and all funding goes toward marketing & teams it’s something some of us would entertain as well. But not pure sweat equity on a non funded low budget startup. Your situation matters a lot.
Additionally storage costs is going to be ROUGH on this, you won’t want to use bubble, a 3rd party database is going to be required for file hosting because bubbles file hosting prices are insane and this will be at a pretty large volume.
