I conduct a class where we teach students using low-code/no-code platform to build a quick app or web. For that reason, I research for many tools and platform and I decided to go with Bubble as our primarly tools for at least 14 weeks of instruction.
I notice that some of my accounts have been changed to the new properties window (PW). But when the class started, in the last week, all of my students have the old PW. So, I’m okay to teach them with the old PW (I’m using other account with old PW)
Then today, some PW of them change to the new one. It’s really frustrated that Bubble give the new PW randomly and my class really didn’t go that well, because 30% of my students got the new PW. So, I need to teach 2 different PW at the same time which ruined my plan.
My question1: How I really swap to the new PW or roll back to the old PW? I’m searching for weeks and cannot find the way (Already check app Versions, ask bubble AI, etc.).
My question2: I want to tell their marketing about this, but I can’t find direct contact. Please help me reach them that this strategy is not goes well.
Beside this complains, I still love Bubble. It’s really a power tools and I still urge to use Bubble through my web development journey.
@norapat.l Oof, yeah, that’s rough, especially in a classroom setting.
You can’t manually switch or roll back the Properties Window. Bubble is rolling it out account-by-account, and there’s no toggle to force old or new. That’s why it feels random, but it’s actually controlled on Bubble’s side.
For feedback, the best way is the forum, or submitting feedback through Bubble support / the in-app help. There isn’t a direct marketing contact, but the product team does monitor rollout feedback there. Totally get the frustration, teaching two UIs at once is no fun.
Yes you can.
Just toggle the switch in the editor window to switch back to the old Property Editor.

@fede.bubble: Honest question on moderation: how does the forum handle users who repeatedly post factually incorrect answers?
In this case, saying the Properties Window can’t be switched or rolled back is just wrong. Posts like that often get read first, and a lot of people won’t scroll further to see corrections.
I’m not talking about tone or whether something sounds AI-generated. This is about accuracy. Confident but incorrect guidance ends up confusing users and causing extra problems later.
Is there any way to flag or correct this kind of misinformation more clearly?

The best way is for you to click the button under the post, submit a flag for it and in the reason explain why this post should be removed
Edit: for what is worth, it can or can’t be changed depending on user type
also, just to answer the actual questions here:
@norapat.l, the new Property Editor beta was rolled out to 25% of existing users and 25% of new users at random. Here’s the important bit: existing accounts that get the beta can toggle it off. But new users that get the beta cannot toggle between the new and old property editor versions.
For your second question, I have shared your concerns about trying to teach bubble while the class doesn’t have the same property editor across the board. Thanks for flagging this

Thanks for reply, but I don’t have that toggle (Already check on my 2 different accounts)
But as @fade.bubble said:
existing accounts that get the beta can toggle it off. But new users that get the beta cannot toggle between the new and old property editor versions.
My current solution: I let my student to create new account to use the old PW for now.
Thanks for listening. Keep the great work up guys.
