I want my MONEY $$$

I created a paid plugin. But Bubble will not pay me the amount I covered, because they claim that the Stripe does not make payments to Brazil. I’ve already contacted support, but the employee has nothing to do because Bubble says “I’m sorry”, we’ll keep your money :moneybag::money_mouth_face:. I tried to create an American Paypal account but since I don’t live in the United States, that’s not possible. In short, @josh and @emmanuel are going to keep my money and make money from my code. And the plugin builder don’t let me, change the license to private. I need to delete my plugin and I’ll have to leave my clients unanswered and unsupported, as Bubble doesn’t provide me with their email so I can at least explain myself.

I hope Bubble solves this situation :slightly_frowning_face:It’s very sad that you use your time to contribute to the community and go through this kind of situation

Bubble has to solve this problem as soon as possible! This discourages us from contributing to the community, we waste time creating plugins to go beyond the limitations of the platform, and we are not paid (Brazilians)

I’ll collect your money and moneygram it to you for a 10% processing fee :joy: (just to make light of the situation.) I agree since they are an international company it would be nice if they had a way to do this, even if it was a manual process annually or something like that).

No clue if this will work but have you considered setting up a US bank account through https://wise.com/? (not affiliated with them, I just use it a lot and would recommend). Create a US bank account then transfer to your Brazilian one…

Dear Bubble Representative,

When I read the note sent by Moabe, creator of the plugin company, I was dismayed by the lack of payment for the work. I ask Bubble to resolve this situation fairly and immediately, valuing business ethics and ensuring a healthy relationship between the parties.

Yours sincerely,
Rafael Santos

Bubble ONLY make payoffs to a STRIPE Account, and they told to me that my account is not eligible to receive payouts, because I’m Brazilian.

Thanks for your support

I agree, An alternative to stripe is urgently needed

But you knew there wasn’t one prior to building a commercial plugin?

I don’t, when I submitted my plugin with commercial license, they didn’t tell me this “problem”. They mention this in “fine print” in the documentation regarding creating paid templates. Since a commercially licensed plugin needs “manual” approval, they knew about it and did nothing.

But you can create a stripe account linked to another country’s bank account no?

The funny thing is that Stripe actually has a brazilian subsidiary, so they process payments in Brazil, and with Brazilian Reais (os cara pega nosso suado dinhêrim!), so it seems a little bit strange that this operation can’t be done.
As you may notice, I’m brazilian (tamo junto!) and I have recently set a US Bank Account using my brazilian account at Banco Inter. Maybe you could link that account to your Stripe – would that overcome the issue? Or do you have to set up a US Stripe Account, that requires you to provide a US address?

This is unrelated to the original issue. Just an observation…

The Brazilian Bubble community is tight af, and I’m a little jealous not to be a part of that squad. :brazil:

Bubble’s response

Thank you so much for your patience. We very unfortunately are not able to facilitate payouts to marketplace contributors based in Brazil. Because we use only Stripe for payment processing, we are limited by their restrictions, including that they do not allow payouts to be sent from the US to Brazil as indicated in their documentation here. This was implemented last year when Brazil’s government made some changes to the way they process payments coming from international sources.

Stripe Response:

@moabe.leite how much money you earned from plugin?

This is not really the subject
