Personal Background:
My name is Brandon and I am a fairly new Bubble developer with a 4 year background as a Software Engineer and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science - emphasis in Software Engineering. Currently, I am employed by a Forbes 100 company where I work when needed, specifically to offset the cost of this venture. Due to my background and personal thirst for knowledge, I have familiarity with a wide range of programming languages, software/applications, concepts, projects, architectures, standards, expectations, etc…
What I’m Looking For:
I am working on several fairly complicated web applications, in which I am looking to hire 5 or more experienced Bubble developers. I will be hiring these individuals starting today, 10/6/18, and will be interviewing until every position is filled. I expect each developer to have the ability to develop, design, or consult whenever needed, and the work is expected to be done quick and efficiently. By experienced I mean that I need someone who knows the ins and outs of Bubble, specifically knowing how to develop for efficiency through architectural knowledge in API’s, back-end development, database design, integration of other applications/programming languages, and the overall development process based on scalability to predict and compensate for any level of growth.
Compensation
I can immediately tell you that I won’t pay above $30 an hour, so please don’t waste your time and mine by trying to request for higher rates. After minimum one month of proven work where I can easily see that you work above efficiency expectations, I can promise that I will increase pay accordingly. Increases in pay will be done on a monthly basis, to those who continue to show their added value to the cause. Maximum compensation at any given point is $100 / hr. My philosophy is prove your value to me and you’ll be paid that same value. If your value does grow near the maximum of $100/hr, I may offer partnership(more details below).
This is not a job that will provide consistent or guaranteed hours. However, once again, as you prove your value, more tasks/jobs will be assigned. Additionally, once a certain point is reached, an offer may be extended to hire on as a permanent Software Engineer which will provide consistent hours ranging from 20-40 hours / week. In any role, know that it is required that you be available within 24 hours of notification to start the task/project assigned, while also finishing the job quickly and with fairly high quality.
Pay will be provided on a weekly basis according to hours/tasks that are documented and approved through a provisioned application. Provisioning of pay can be done according to preference but limited to PayPal or direct deposit.
Expectation Details
Please take note that my expectations are set in stone. If you fail to meet them, I will be quick to end our arrangement. However, I am fair/lenient where it’s deserved - ethically ambitious individuals.
If hired, you will need to be available to start work immediately. The developers that I hire will need to do any of the following: documentation/guide creation, consultation, design, development, debugging/testing, support/troubleshooting, optimization, and all of which must be done quickly and with results that I expect.
I know that I sound very demanding in this post and that’s because I want it to be clear that I am looking for people who are ethical, experienced, driven, flexible, and want to turn their Bubble/Development knowledge into an extremely well paying career.
Potential Extra Benefits
The developers who work for me and strive to become the best will not only be paid accordingly, but gain many other benefits. Some of these benefits include, but are not limited to:
- using myself as a reference
- gaining true experience developing large-scale branded applications
- portions of work that can be used in portfolios(NDA & NCA will be signed, only portions that are approved)
- potential of reaching $100/hr compensation, potential bonuses on a quarterly basis based on overall performance and overall estimates being met.
- Lastly, the most important to mention is the potential for partnership. As mentioned previously, those who prove their value will be compensated accordingly and eventually it can turn to be costly to the budget. In which case, to those who are deemed of the highest value, an offer will be made in equity of the company in exchange for full-time hours committed to the company, which also includes monetary compensation additional to the equity. Compensation can be expected from the dividend return on a monthly basis, or in other words… compensation will come from monthly excess profit that is not needed to maintain the scaling budget.
