Improve Repeating Group loading times (Data from an external API call)

Hi, anyone any ideas on the best practices for uses Repeating Groups that contain data from external api calls (API Connector).

I get very slow RG loading times and lots of lag on initial load.

It’s all based on your api server. If it returns quickly then, sure it will render quickly in your bubble app.

Are you using 3rd party service or your own hosted server?

Response times are fine. Its the actual loading time of the repeating group that is the issue…

Hey,

two ideas here:

  1. Work with pagination and display only a couple of entries at once
  2. Work with lazy loading (ext. Vertical Scrolling)
