In need of advice!

Hi there,
I’m trying to build an app like uber eats, but I’m not planning on using google!
so for my location search…
(the user inputs their address and the app populates the nearest search results):
should I use an external service to save all the locations?
(so the searching of addresses will be done with their service? - probably going to cost more…)
or should I use the bubble app to calculate the distances?
(I already have a tool to calculate distances, but I don’t want it to go through all of my database…)
I’m open to hear if there are any other options or solutions to my problem…

thank you all,
any input will be much appreciated!

Hi @bizyland ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Setting up Google APIs is very quick and easy, and may be the best option for your use case.

For example: With Google APIs you can very easily automatically determine the nearest search results and the exact distance between points.

Let me know if you need a helping hand with this.

Are you going to hire someone for creating this app? Or will you do it yourself?

Thank you for the advice, but I was saying before that
I don’t want to use google…

Most likely do it myself…
