Hey everyone,

I’m Nick and I lead mobile product development at Bubble. Last week we launched Bubble’s native mobile beta — and the response from this community has been incredible. You’ve already built more than 20,000 amazing apps, and it’s clear that momentum is building fast.

As a fast follow, I’m thrilled to share that the mobile debugger is now live in web preview for all native mobile builders.

Everything you need to debug in real time

You already know and love the web debugger. But building for mobile comes with its own unique challenges, and debugging in real time is key to scaling confidently. We’ve overhauled the debugger specifically for native mobile apps to help you do exactly that — inspect your app, trace workflows, catch issues, and fine-tune layouts across devices without ever leaving the editor.

  • Inspector mode: Hover to view element properties, dynamic values, and conditions
  • Workflow debugging: Run workflows step-by-step or use action breakpoints to pause at a specific step to catch unexpected behavior early
  • Error and warning panel: Monitor runtime issues as they happen
  • Device previews: Quickly switch between screen sizes to test responsive layouts
  • Persistent debugger panel: Always visible alongside your app during web preview

With the debugger, you can build, test, and iterate — faster.

What’s next

We’re shipping improvements to mobile all the time. This release is part of our continued focus on transparency, speed, and giving you the tools to succeed early. Just like with the mobile editor itself, we’re building in public and evolving based on your feedback.

Get started with the mobile debugger

  1. Open your mobile app in web preview — the debugger appears automatically.
  2. Click around, inspect elements, and watch your workflows in action.
  3. Run with it. And let us know what’s working and what could be better.

Probably the first bubble UI that I love right off the bat. Will need to try it out but this demo video is clean as hell

It’s so positive to see really slick modern UIs coming out, gives me a lot of hope for how bubble will look in the near future. Would love to see something similar for server logs, I have been excitedly waiting for that update since I saw the preview a while back. Great work :clap:

Now can`t wait to see In app purchases/subscriptions avaliable, because in our apps we can not use Stripe (and other 3-d party payment providers)…

Hopefully this makes its way to desktop. On the topic of the debugger, it would be really nice if you guys could include an option for “Disable ‘Do every second’ workflows from running” or, in lieu of that, when right clicking a workflow, show “Don’t run in debugger” (alongside “Disable” and “Delete”)

I’ve found an issue with mobile debugger: [BUG] "Include errors in response and allow workflows to continue" checkbox in API connector is broken
