I’m exceptionally new to Bubble. I’ve gone through a few training sessions but it goes in one year and out the other. Very much struggling to understand it all. Is this because I cannot code or am I just not giving it the time it deserves?
Definitively you can do it with Bubble. The learning curve will be between 3-6 weeks to grasp important concepts. Read and try a lot first. No code mean you don’t type code, but you are filling the code. So if you start from zero, it will take more time but it’s a wonderful experience anyway. After, you can build almost whatever you want! Welcome to Bubble
There’s a truism that learning a programming language is a lot like learning a foreign language. Bubble, is no exception. However, Bubble is significantly easier to grasp because it doesn’t invoke arbitrary rules or difficult to learn syntax to the extent that traditional coding does.
There’s been wonderful growth in terms of the resources available for learning Bubble (between the Bubble created resources, those listed on Stakk, the forum).
As you’re learning Bubble, view it as a learning process. (Ie. you wont be able to build exactly what you want the first time. And that’s OK. But you can reflect, learn and build it better as you gain understanding).
For concept reinforcement, I really recommend making use of Bubble’s See reference feature (hover over most things for a second, and a link will appear). It’s a great way to dive directly into the documentation as it connects to specific components of Bubble.
