I now have a solution to navigate my apps using subfolders instead of parameters, which should be beneficial for SEO. The only thing I’m concerned about is that navigations either happen through a ‘button’ or a ‘div’. There’s no ‘a’ tags for navigation. Do you think that’s a problem for SEO?
If you don’t mind, I’d like to use your app as an example for BuildAppolis on how you should properly route and setup your pages. You have made a fine example of your skill and expertise on the development of your front-end application. It’s honestly very nice and makes me happy to see what you have done here. Especially at the fact that you have made it all mobile friendly.
As far as your links go, that shouldn’t have any effect on your pages as long as your routes are correct on page load and that you have an actual page on Bubble made for it. Same applies for SEO. As long as you have actual individual pages for your application, your SEO should be fine.
Pages are reusable elements which can be animated in/out using Bubble animations. For the blog cards and product images I’ve been developing a carousel/slider plugin for a long time now. I’m a little bit anxious releasing it. It keeps getting bigger and better but it still feels like a wild beast that only I know how to tame.
If you wish to try it, I can give you access. DM me a bubble project ID
Thank you, I really appreciate your kind words. A lot of work has gone into this site. Feel free to use it as an example. I haven’t come across other Bubble apps using this kind of navigation so I was a bit hesitant when developing it. I do feel like this is how apps should be structured and navigated to take full advantage of Bubble’s strength.
I wrote a small plugin for navigation to replace ‘Go to page…’ and other actions, but in order to release it, it should also contain information about how projects and pages should be structure in order for it to work. Let me know if you want to collaborate on making this happen.
