I hope you’re doing well! I’m currently working on a feature in my Bubble app where users can clock in and out, and I’m facing an issue with calculating the correct date interval.
I have attached a screenshot of the relevant part of my workflow where I’m trying to calculate the hours between clocking in and out. However, it seems that the result isn’t as expected, and I’m having difficulty figuring out where the problem lies.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue or has insights into how I can accurately calculate the date interval in Bubble?
Hi there, @snapclickmedia… if I am seeing/understanding things correctly, it’s not working because you are trying to calculate the interval in the same step where you are saving a value to the Clock out field, so the field is still empty when the interval is being calculated. Try using Current date/time instead of the Clock out field in the interval calculation or add a step to the workflow that calculates the interval after the step where the current date/time is saved to the Clock out field.
