My name is Theo, partnerships manager at Bubble, and I’m excited to announce something we’ve been working on with our friends at Anthropic: The Bubble AI Hackathon — happening from October 16 to November 13!
To celebrate the launch of the new Bubble AI Agent, we’re kicking off an AI-focused challenge with $25,000 in total prizes across three tracks.
This is your chance to challenge yourself, build AI-powered apps, and compete for cash prizes and Anthropic API credits.
Here’s how to join the Bubble x Anthropic AI Hackathon:
Generate an app using Bubble AI. You can work solo or with a team of up to three people. Any app created on or after October 16, 2025 is eligible.
Integrate AI features from Anthropic’s Claude API or other AI providers to build something creative. Take advantage of the Bubble AI Agent and visual editor to build your app. Share your progress on social with #BubbleAI throughout the challenge!
Once your app is ready, post a 1–3 minute video demo on X or LinkedIn. Quote or repost our announcement with your video and app link, using #BubbleAI and tagging @Bubble.
All entries must be posted by November 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET.

Prize categories
The Bubble team will evaluate submissions across three tracks, with $5,000 cash prizes for each:
Best Design: Outstanding UI/UX that showcases what’s possible with AI-generated apps refined through visual editing.
Best Use of AI: Most impressive integration of AI features and innovative use of AI providers.
Most Traction: Best user adoption, engagement metrics, and momentum gained during the four-week period.
Bonus prizes: The top 10 submissions will each receive $1,000 in Claude API credits from Anthropic. Cash prize winners are eligible for API credits too!

I’ve decided to take the plunge!
I attended the demonstration of the new AI development at the Bubble Tour Paris and was a little skeptical about its usefulness in designing professional applications beyond the prototype stage.
Actually, I was a little disappointed by the first proposal.
But after testing the new version all week, I think it can really be an asset in saving time and structuring the project.
In fact, it’s really practical to use ^^
So I’m going to push the test to the limit and propose an application (I choose a game) and submit it to the competition.
This is a first for me, and a real challenge!

Hey Thomas, glad to hear you are finding the agent helpful! I personally really like it for troubleshooting- it’s similar to using Chatgpt but because the agent has full context on my app JSON, the Bubble manual and access to the internet its quite helpful!
Regarding your question on bugs/ideas, you can use this thread - we’ll be actively monitoring it

The concept is actually quite simple and is based on an audit tool that my clients ask me for: "I have to go to several places during my audit and at each place, I have to ask questions, take a photo, do something specific…
My game should therefore allow creators to suggest an itinerary with places to visit and actions to perform.
This will allow me to thoroughly test the possibilities of “native mobile” mode: photos, geolocation, device information, etc.
On this subject, I understood that AI mode would be extended to mobile mode, but it does not seem to be available yet.
Re-AI for native mobile: Native Mobile AI app gen is in beta and only native apps generated with AI have access to the Bubble AI agent. I’m happy to ask the team to add you to the beta. will DM you.

Hi @theo.goldberg ! First time Bubble user here, loving it so far! I built the start of my app with Bubble AI and used it for a few edits, but now the Bubble AI button seems to be gone. Not sure if I did something to turn it off? I’m almost done with the app, so it’s not life or death, but wanted to make sure it won’t disqualify me if I keep building it without it?
