Just downloaded bubbleGo app and it doesn't launch

I have just installed the Bubble Go app (android Google Pixel 7 Pro). But when I try to launch I just get the Bubble logo on the screen and nothing else. I have rebooted the phone, uninstalled the app. No change. Any ideas?

I have also tried the same on a later Pixel and a Motorola and get the same results.
