List of things 1k or 10k?

Im a little confused. Everyone in the forum keep saying that the limit of list of things is 1000, but when I read the full reference documentation it says 10000. which one is right? It would be nice if an updated date was added right next to the full reference item so we know if its recent or old. thanks

Likely the documentation needs updating… I think @josh was referring to lists in the database, and “in-memory” lists can still go up to 10,000 items.

Adding a limit to max list length

We’re currently hitting some scaling difficulties with very long lists. To keep this from impacting the performance of Bubble, we’re rolling out a limit on the maximum length of a list: we will no longer let apps add more than 1000 items (attempting to do so will result in an error message). Yes it’s 10,000. 1,000 is an old number on the forum.
