Locking in children elements into group

is it possible to lock children elements inside of their parent groups?

I find that clicking and dragging often pulls it out of the parent group and then I have to mess around clicking and dragging to put it back in the group. can I set it in a group with an option versus dragging and dropping it into it?

I know I can lock the ability to move stuff and that’ll “lock it in” but then I can’t move it around within the parent group.

WHat about selecting parent from the property editor? Does that work for you?

Instead of moving the group with your mouse, you can select it and move it with you keyboards arrow keys. This way, it will always stay within the parent group.
