Here is a look at this project that I’ve completed called The Gap Year Institute. It has it’s own custom hashtag system built to match different user types and it has it’s own messaging system. Both will probably end up being features in your application. Especially if you want to optimize the searching process for those looking for a particular course, and if you want students to be able to aske clarifying questions if their lessons.
