Looking for Bubble docs feedback

Hi everyone,

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Petter :waving_hand: and I’m working on the Bubble documentation. As development of the new property editor moves forward, I’ve been updating the core reference to match the new layout and giving the content a cleanup. You don’t need to be a PE beta tester to respond to the poll.

For context: the User Manual is intended for in-depth, long-form explanations, while the core reference focuses on concise, technical, quick-lookup material (this is also what editor links point to). The articles below are for the core reference section.

Some of the existing articles are extremely long. Based on feedback, I’ve been experimenting with making them more compact and easier to navigate. The main benefit is shorter, more flexible articles where you can expand or collapse sections as needed. The tradeoff is an extra click to access certain details, and the right-hand navigation only covers the main headers.

Please ignore typos or missing info in the samples below — everything is still a work in progress.

Here are two articles for comparison:

Compact style: Uses expandable sections for each element (part of the upcoming update)

Extended style: Uses headers and subheaders for navigation (currently live)

Would love to get your vote and written feedback. Feel free to also point out other ideas and feedback, but for now, let’s stick to the core reference section and the new property editor :folded_hands:

I prefer the extended.Yes compact style is cleaner… but you will have to click to really see what you are a looking for. The right side menu also help to navigate fast between headers. Maybe this should have submenu navigation that will be like the compact style?
