Hi Bubble Developers

My Startup Studio, StartHQ (https://starthq.co.uk/), is looking for two Bubble developers for an upcoming project.

About Us

We are a UK based full-stack Startup Studio that offers sales, marketing, legal and no-code development services to founders. We help companies launch their MVP and Bubble is the platform we use to build our solutions.

StartHQ was launched in September and is growing, having successfully launched one project, is developing another and has a growing pipeline of new opportunities.

The Roles

We are nearing the decision point for one of the projects in our pipeline and are looking for 2 experienced Bubble developers to help us deliver. One of the developers should feel comfortable being technically responsible for the solution and happy to manage the other.

We are under a non-disclosure agreement with the client so can’t say too much about it here except that it is a Business to Business marketplace startup that has secured funding, is likely to start within the next month and is expected to be a full-time 4 month engagement.

We are looking for two Bubble Certified developers who:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience building Bubble apps
  • Have a portfolio of past projects they can share, ideally including any marketplace (like AirBnB) or retail platform (like an ecommerce store)
  • Can demonstrate their understanding of large database design, including how to optimise searches for speed and workflow efficiency
  • Are self starters and comfortable taking on the responsibilities involved in strategic startup projects
  • Are happy working with standard design principles such as Bootstrap
  • Are able to manually convert Figma designs into Bubble
  • Are familiar with the Stripe Connect API
  • Can demonstrate their experience with the Bubble API Connector and the Bubble Data API
  • Are fully fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Are able to work (at least partly) in the UK timezone
  • Are comfortable working on fixed bid projects

Additional Things to Consider

  • As StartHQ grows, we are looking to build out a core team of trusted developers, so will prefer people who are open to working with us on a regular basis going forward
  • No agencies please
