I have user defined expense categories in my app but I want to add some pre defined expense categories as well. If I have my dropdown input field set for Search for expense categories I get both pre-defined as well as all users categories. If I set it for Current Users expense categories I get the user defined ones but not the pre-defined ones. How do I get Current Users Expense Categories plus the pre-defined app ones?
Search for expense categories (set constraints to be only pre-defined):merged with search for expense categories (set constraints to be created by current user).
Hi @romanmg. It has taken me a while to implement this. I have set the Expense Category’s Choice source as suggested
All looks good when I click on the dropdown arrow with categories from both searches showing
But then when I choose one of the options nothing happens (or will sometimes show momentarily).
If I go back to either search I can choose one of the options OK.
What might I be doing wrong here???
Hm, your setup looks good, but there might be a bug with the element…
