I followed the youtube tutorial and looked on this forum and nothing worked. The exception was to do a workaround another user suggested. And I was about to give up but worked on it with chatgpt and we figured out — uncheck [the save to library ] seemed to have resolved the issue. cheers to building

Same boat here, the native camera / upload flow was a pain for me too, mostly how long you wait before the photo even shows up.
I ended up making a small plugin inspired by WhatsApp: the preview is instant and the upload happens in the background after. Way nicer for users. Here it is if you want to try it: WA Instant Photo Uploader Plugin | Bubble
