My Search for a "High-Quality" Bubble Developer: A Cautionary Tale

George,

You’ve now quoted a post I made in 2022, taken it out of context, and used it to redirect attention away from the topic I raised — which is about developers failing to follow scope, making unauthorized changes, and introducing new issues.

Back then, I hired a guy from Montreal to build my app. Later, when criticism came in, I didn’t deflect — I paid another professional to review the app and provide an honest assessment. That’s called taking responsibility.

Before we stray any further, let’s remember what this thread is actually about: repeated unprofessional behavior by certain freelancers, not my forum history or budget.

Instead, you’ve dug up an old 2022 post and are now playing judge, jury, and expert — using my experiences to boost your profile.

As one might say:

“Let me demonstrate my wisdom by dissecting someone else’s problem publicly — even if it means misrepresenting them in the process.”

That perfectly sums up what’s happening here.

I posted this to share lessons I’ve learned the hard way, to offer guidance to others, and to maybe find people who value professionalism for what it is — a baseline, not a premium feature.

If you’d like to contribute in that spirit, I’m open to it. But if the goal is to reframe old posts to build your own credibility at someone else’s expense, then I think we’re done here.
