Need help with getting dates from a repeating group

Im using the 1t list of dates plug in to get recurring dates on the weekly and biweekly basis. I couldn’t figure out how to make it grab the next date on a monthly basis but go to the nearest anchor day. (monday, tuesday and so on)
I was able to use a repeating group to grab the correct day of the week in the correct week for the following month but i can not figure out how to get this data out of the repeating group to create the users future bookings.
here are a couple of screen shots. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I left the initial content for the input field blank and have it populate when loaded but that did not work.

try putting a button into the repeating group and using the button click as the trigger

It took a bit of tinkering but I finally got it working. Using the date button as the trigger worked. Thank you.
