New Mobile Plugin: Share Sheet

Hi everyone!

As you may know, we are kicking off the mobile plugin alpha testing. As a part of our internal QA, I built a native share sheet plugin (Mobile share sheet) as a proof of concept. Feel free to use it in your apps if you need to copy or share text to different apps!

Note: Its super super basic, only supports text, and does not yet work on android.

I just try it. It works very well. Thanks @nick.carroll

I see it, I will check it out. Thanks @nick.carroll

Can i participate with this testing?

That’s exactly what I needed!! Thanks Nick! You’re going higher and higher!

I’ve just tried it and it works perfectly, even on the desktop (MacBook).

I have a question about plugins. Does your team at Bubble have to make changes to the Bubble mobile code, or do all plugin editors have to change something in their plugins to adapt to Bubble mobile ?

The plugin editor will remain the same, there will just be some new options when you mark that you are wanting to create a mobile plugin element or action.

Me too, I confirm… I pushed an update on the stores and there are no bugs…

Hey Nick,

I noticed that it also works on Android actually…

Thanks Nick !

Working perfect on iOS fir me (previewed on Bubblego) !

If you need a beta tester for plugins, I’m up for it ! I need to build an image slider for imoka-immo.fr 's mobile app

BHI @nick.carroll how can i hide this only on android? you mentioned that it doesnt work on there. throws this error when called.

Hi, I made that mistake when the text to share was empty.. On my Android app it works great..

in my case the text to share isnt empty. works fine on iOS but throws that error on android.

Yeah I’m not sure why it breaks sometimes on Android but not others. As a quick text, does the share sheet work on Android if you just put static text in the content input?

just tried with just static text and still threw an error. Could other plugins be affecting it? Like the issue with Bubble Go on android, after removing the API plugin, it no longer gets stuck on the blue screen and loads fine.

Yes in fact in my case it works strangely even on Android

@nick.carroll We need access please :folded_hands: we would like to develop a charts plugin .

Awesome!!
I’d love to join the alpha/beta if possible @nick.carroll
