This plugin helps you natively share page/post and images on Android & iOS. It opens a native “share” popup in Android and iOS where you can select the app you’d like to share through.
It is really simple to use:
Place the element on the page
Trigger the plugin action “Share NativeMShare-Share A” adding the URL of the page you need to share (or upload an image in case of image sharing) and write a title and text for sharing.
This plugin is available on mobile devices only.
To use the plugin on your end are needed only a few steps to follow.
It is needed to place the plugin’s element on a page
After selecting the element that will trigger the share, it is needed to add the workflow for it. Here is a screenshot with the workflow from the Demo page
There is some good news to share about the plugin. We have changed the plugin library which has led to a significant improvement in its work.
Now the plugin has a new client-side action “Share” which allows sharing titles, text, URLs, files or lists of files, etc:
Just upgrade your plugin to the latest 1.3.0 version and give it a try.
The demo for this plugin doesn’t work on my phone (iOS/Safari). Before I bite the bullet and pay to upgrade, could you let me know if the plugin is still functional at this time? Thanks!
We have just deployed the demo page to live. Can you please check now if you still face any issues with it? If yes - please let me know your device and OS version.
We checked the plugin demo page work on iPhone 11 (OS: 16.1.1) using Safari and Google Chrome - no issue.
I bought the plugin. When I try to share it with a static image, it gets shared. But when i try to share a dynamic image using the workflow, the workflow is not triggered. I have attached the workflow image for the reference. Please help me out with it.
Also, you can make the text static (i.e. the app developer chooses which text will be sent) or dynamic (the user chooses which text they want to send) via Input in the plugin settings.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask.
