We’ve published this phone number input a while ago and we figured it would be a good idea to have a forum thread for questions, fixes, requests and future updates.
We built it to mimic the behavior and customization options of bubble’s native input fields. No surprises and works like how you expect it to. It’s simple to set up out of the box, but has some useful customization features and works well with international phone numbers.
Looks awesome!
I’m wanting to use this both to capture a user’s phone number and to display that number.
However it looks like there isn’t any way to disable the input.
Do you have any suggestions or perhaps this is something you could add?
Thanks!
Just to clarify the use case, the purpose for using this to display is because it properly formats the number for me according to the country standard. This is an enhanced user experience to just seeing a string of numbers. And I’d rather not reinvent the wheel when it comes to creating a custom mask for every country.
Looks good! Thank you again
Okay, now I’m inspired to try and help you guys become the best possible phone input!
Something I just noticed that other inputs do is list the countries with the English name as well as a native name. This is likely important for non-english speaking users.
Key take-aways
-changing the country shouldn’t erase the number
-show place holders by country
-set character max it 16 (no phone number is longer than that)
Last request would be to match styling with the country dropdown during selection. Currently it seems to be set to grey with no way to change it.
Add these and I think this input will be the #1 phone plugin easily!
(I already really love how simple it is to use and how it acts like other bubble inputs)
Thanks for the awesome suggestions Devin! We’ll definitely check it out.
We have some other plugins that require a lot of work at the moment but I’ll put it on our roadmap and hopefully we have some time soon!
Hello @vnihoul77 ,
Thank you for your purchase and for reaching out.
Any chance you could fix the issue that prevents the dropdown from showing within a popup?Looks like a z-index issue?

We understand that it is frustrating to have this issue, slowing down your project progress, we are committed to help you in solving this issue but for us to be able to reproduce the issue on our side could you please provide more details regarding your use case?
Namely:
-Screenshots of the plugin element’s configuration.
-Workflows associated with the plugin.
-The position of the plugin element in relation to the other elements of your pop-up, how they are grouped etc.

Hello @vnihoul77,
Thank you for sharing with us more details.
After a closer inspection of your screenshots, we have noticed that your plugin element looks different than our Phone Number+Formating plugin and the Phone Number input that this thread was originally created doesn’t have the fields that you showed in your screens.
To this extent could you please provide us with the following:
-A screenshot from the plugin tab containing the full name of the plugin you are using, the dev
-The current version you are on
Once we have these details we can make sure that we are heading in the right direction regarding the issue you have reported.
Have a nice day,
Zeroqode Support Team.
Appreciate the fast support @plugins
It’s almost working! Now when focused the dropdown appears, but trigger a zoom on mobile (even if the font size is more than 16px)
Here’s the video:
(My guess is that the little text within the “search placeholder” of the dropdown does not updates its size and therefore creates a zoom on IOS
PS: Apologize for the huge confusion @ZeroqodeSupport , it’s indeed not your plugin. But I tried yours today and the zoom issue occurs as well on yours, looks like it’s based on the same code.

No worries we are glad it got sorted out and you got the assistance you were looking for.
Regarding the issue with zoom, we will investigate further with our dev team to see the cause of why this happens and will get back to you with an update.
Thank you for your feedback, let me know if you would need help with any of our plugins in the future.
