Wow, that’s not normal at all… The latest library version this plugin depends on has a better CORS support. However if it brings new issues, we can not use it.

Hey @BubbleSam , great job with this plugin. Purchased it recently for the URL generator feature.
I have an issue however, the screenshots consistently show a white bar on the left edge. Any idea why and how to avoid this? Is this on your or my end?

You will have to download the image cause with the forum’s white background it won’t be visible.
Seems like the screenshot is taken 10px too much on the left. This crops the right border and shows a white bar on the left edge.
Also, FYI, the screenshot does not render icons or image files in SVG format. Had to export my icons in png to have them render.
Let me know if you have a solution or workaround for the framing issue.

Probably you are capturing the parent element with a nested child which has a 10px left margin?

I doubled check and can confirm there is no child element with a left margin that would exceed the parent element (group).

Hi there @BubbleSam , just purchased the plugin. It seems that taking screenshots for content of a popup doesnt work. I entered the id of the popup but the screenshot comes back empty. Even tried to take the entire screen while the popup is opened as a solution but it didn’t work. Any workaround please?

what? 'yes i would like to display the stored image but it’s blank in the data fields when i go check but the pic is in file manager. yes how do i get the url and display it back a a picture.
@BubbleSam Is there a way to make the url private?
From what I can see as long as you have the url, you can see the screenshot.
For the moment, the shared URL is always public.

Hi @BubbleSam , I am enjoying your plugin a lot. Thank you! I have an issue, however:
I am using the plugin to generate images users can share on social media. One of the modes is text-based, where a user types into a multiline input and when clicking “Share”, the screenshot is generated. Do you know what might be happening that would cause the input to change like this (line breaks removed, vertically centered)?
I have played with various solutions including displaying the input text in a text element instead of an input, alignments, height constraints… The low opacity white bg is the input background color, so it doesnt appear that the height of the input field is changing when the screenshot is generated, just the content of the input itself.

Regarding the multiline text, unfortunately, it’s a known bug in the internal library. We are still trying to find a solution…
Ach – well, it’s good to know that it’s a known bug, so I can quit goin’ crazy on my end trying to fix it! I will adjust my UX in the meantime and keep an eye out for updates.

I’m trying to find a solution to being able to take a screen shot during a video chat. The use case would be a remote support technician could connect with a worker at a plant and then take a screen shot of the image that is one the live video which they would later be able to annotate (using a different plugin)
Is there any way this can be possible? It doesn’t capture on the basic version of your plugin. Not sure if the Pro version could do it. Would be happy to purchase if yes.

Just a question if theres any browser limitations? especially on mobile? Most desktops I am able to take a screenshot but it seems like a hit and miss for mobile browsers. Any workarounds?

The screenshot element sometimes screenshots a blank background when image sizes are too high e.g above 10mb it seems. Is there a workaround for this?
