Oddly they never fixed the weird muted pastel colors that are the only colors you can use for workflow folders etc.
When you convert from the old PE to the new PE, if you have the variable linked and it’s a different opacity, it shouldn’t break frontend structure and the variable will hold. But honestly, if you are changing the opacity of a variable, shouldn’t that be a different variable then, since that’s a different color?
There should be a plus icon next to the input that allows you to make it dynamic.
You have to hover over the section title for a couple seconds to see it.
Sorry about that bug, we fixed it last week!
Added you
Yep this was a bug that should be fixed now!
Hear you, we’re working on this!
Hm I tried to do this with the old PE and it doesn’t seem to work there either. Looking into regardless.
Hey, can you give me an example so I can look into this?
Yep, when the popovers are nested like that we’ll keep them open. Good call out about the bug though, thank you!
Ok, wouldn’t have been my first choice of UX, but… I’m not seeing the docs. Am I doing it wrong?
Agh, for sections like “Content” or “Size”, you can hover the title revealing an information icon that will take you to documentation. Looks like for plugins with user-defined documentation that isn’t being surfaced anywhere
. Thank you for flagging — will get a fix out soon. ![]()
Thanks for catching these, Dale and Rico! These are important and both should be fixed now.
It’s working!
I’m wondering if you could:
- allow users to select text in the tooltip – currently it closes the moment you mouse away from the
icon. - allow users to select text anywhere on that pane.

Why did the size adjustment feature revert to the old version? Having the minimum size default to 40x40 whenever a group is first created is a bit of a double-edged sword—it is convenient, yet quite bothersome at the same time.
I felt the new property editor was incredibly handy, as it allowed us to remove the Min and Max sizes with just a single click of the [-] button. But before I knew it, things went back to the old outdated editor. I kindly request that you change it back so we can remove them in one go again.
※ On a similar note, it is simply wonderful that we can now adjust the top and bottom, as well as the left and right padding and margins all at once. And I see the option to move elements all the way forward or backward has returned as well!! This is just fantastic.
How on earth have we still not been given such a basic QOL, low-hanging-fruit feature: the ability for users to customize default sizes and styles for each individual UI element?
In my Bubble-styled codebase editor, I added a customization store to the user and wired up preferences for each individual UI element’s size and EACH style in about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, people have been asking for this in Bubble, a platform that prides itself on being best-in-class for visual development, for years, and there’s still nothing to show for it.
Oh.. Here (Base64-encode the result) should be seen ‘checkbox’ not input field..!
I spent hours.. T_T @lindsay.esterman
I’m sorry about that — gonna get a change out soon!
Just had to switch to the old editor because I couldn’t find a way to choose this for the image. Any idea where that feature went? Stretch, Rescale, Zoom
Hi, if you click that content input (where you set image source), you should see it.
I would not have guessed that ![]()
Yeah. Probably not the most intuitive since it adds extra clicks and wasn’t like that before. But at least it’s there. ![]()
Perhaps adding this right under the input would be helpful.
Bonjour, je suis nouveau dans Bubble, besoin d’aide
