Number of days between input due date & current date

I’m trying to add “X number of days” where X is the number of days between a previously inputted due date and the current date.

I’ve tried the following:

But in preview this just seems to show both dates e.g. “[“Jul 12, 2021 12:00 am”,“Aug 8, 2021 3:35 pm”]”.

Any suggestions?
