I have set up an option set named Status. When content is submitted we review it and then use a dropdown to approve and delete the content. The content is a VLOG . VLOG has a datafield called Status which is type option set status. To get the option set to display in the drop down I have to use All Options Display. Then when I go to save the status it wont save because
its type text not type status.
Any ideas ??

You just need to change Status in Content submission data type from text to option set. Your field type should match the format of the thing that you’re saving.

Hi Sharma - thank you . I have changed the data type to an option set in the data field. However when I load it into the drop down it becomes all options display. which converts is back into text which is why it wont save as an option set
