Hi all - Sorry first time builder here. Why is the OTA update greyed out? I need to fix a spelling mistake. My App is live. Do I need to resubmit another build and wait for App Store to approve? What does that mean for my current users? Will my app still work on previous version while I wait?
Hello, these aspects are highly documented in the documentation. I highly recommend you to read it so that you have a general overview of everything.
Sometimes, when Bubble updates the code below, it disables the ability to send OTA. The reason why you see it gray is this. So you will have to make a new build and wait for approval.
Whether or not your app will work on the previous version is up to you. If you don’t go to deprecate the current version it will work. If you deprecy it no.
Thank you so much! This is my first time building an App. I’ve got one live space up my sleeve so I’ll use it to update, while still having the current version live. One more random question… Does this happen often?
It depends.. if it happens it’s still to make improvements.. so it’s all to our advantage actually.. for example with the last one they solved some bugs that were causing some problems to so many of us.. in any case I don’t advise you to send OTA.. group some changes and always proceed with the builds regardless of whether bubble fixes things under the hood..
They just pushed that big update recently.

I don’t think these type of updates happen that often. This was a big one though.
