I was wondering how long does it take for an OTA mobile update to ask users to update their app ?
In this OTA I have corrected a publishing error “Mobile photos and Gallery string personalisation” (see image below) for my appstoreconnect, will the change automatically reflect on my App after an OTA or I need to create a new build ?
If you are resubmitting to apple for review, you will want to create a new build and re-submit your app store submission with that new build
OTA updates in Bubble typically propagate within 15-30 minutes globally, though users may need to force-close and reopen the app to see changes.
Your “Mobile photos and Gallery string personalisation” error is likely an App Store Connect configuration issue, not app code. OTA updates only push changes to your Bubble app’s logic, workflows, and UI elements. They cannot modify App Store Connect settings like permission strings, app metadata, or store listings.
You need a new build. Update your App Store Connect settings, increment your build number, and submit through the standard App Store review process. The permission string changes require Apple’s approval and cannot be delivered via OTA.
